I am now able to offer neurofeedback training through BrainPaint. The process starts with a 90 item questionaire developed through extensive research with adults. The questionaire results in a personalized protocol for neurofeedback training. Each feedback session consists of three distinct training segments that together last between 30 and 40 minutes. All training helps your brain learn how to shift "gears" (frequencies) according to how it functions most effectively depending on the the task at hand. For instance when it is time to sleep it is best that our brains are able to "park" in the lower frequencies that are typical of healthy sleep. Likewise when we are engaged in problem solving or the challenges of relationships it is best that our brains are able to shift into the brain frequncies of higher cognitive functioning.
I like the BrainPaint software because it translates brain waves into fractal images that are then fed back to the brain along with sounds that guides the brain into the target frequencies for that unique person/brain. Fractal images mirror the way the brain is structured as a complex dynamic system of neuronal networks.
Candidates for neurofeedback include those suffering from anxiety, ADD/ADHD, depression, post traumatic stress - or any recurring trauma based feeling state like hopelessness, inadequacy, powerlessness, etc., recurring unhealthy relationship patterns and those in active addiction recovery programs. Also, neurofeedback has been shown to help with peak performance, quality of leadership and stress management.

Wanted to let visitors to my site know that I have recently signed up to be trained in the use of neurofeedback. This is a form of biofeedback that has been researched and found effective as an adjunct to talk therapy. Because it assists in neuronal network integration it can be helpful in most clinical issues including: anxiety, depression, trauma-based feeling states, phobias, ADD and ADHD, addictions and even some aspects of autism.
The neurofeedback program I will be using is called BrainPaint (google for more information).
I look forward to discussing this exciting adjunct treatment with interested clients.
As always, take care and kind regards,
